Railtown AI’s The Conductor in action during Launch Builders Meetup

Railtown AI participated and presented a demo of The Conductor at Launch Academy’s Launch Builders Meetup. Tech enthusiasts, innovators, and entrepreneurs gathered in Microsoft Vancouver to witness tech companies in action and showcase the products they built.

The Product Demo

For a product manager, successfully launching a product requires a well-orchestrated execution from cross-functional teams, streamlined processes and workflows, and aligned priorities are key. The Conductor levels up the playing field by enabling data-driven analysis of your system for improved product management.

Cory Brandolini, CEO and CO-founder, and Jaime Bueza, Senior Software Engineer presented the demo. Cory started by summarizing what Conductor can do in 2 concepts - gain actionable insights from your knowledge base and accelerate your team's velocity and productivity. Jaime started to demo instances to put the Conductor’s features front and center.

Smarter Insights for Current and Future Projects

Research and development is a vital step in the product development lifecycle. It is the foundation of successful product development where concepts and ideas are continuously tested and challenged. It supports the entire process of research, concept development, prototyping, launch, and commercialization.

Released features have more to offer after its end. The knowledge exchange between the team, the problem solving, and the collaboration that happens can guide future projects as The Conductor utilizes application general intelligence to process data and make it accessible through the following prompts:

  • Summarize the work completed last week
  • What features or functionalities should we prioritize to achieve our goals?
  • What is the potential impact of each feature on user experience and business outcomes?
  • How can we improve the overall user experience?
  • Are there any usability issues or pain points in the current design?
  • Are we achieving user adoption as a key performance indicator?
Railtown AI’s The Conductor

Complement existing workflow

Conductor integrates seamlessly with your existing systems, such as, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, and Asana. It also backfills and analyzes retroactive data through a 1-click integration as you set up your account. It is directly compatible with Jira and Azure DevOps and can also learn through a CSV database backfill. This feature enhances the team’s current workflow and only makes it even more insightful.

Analyzing information > Busy work

Amidst product development, cross-functional team coordination and alignment, and prioritization of product backlog, busy work can get in the way of the team. In some instances, analyzing information is given less attention. Data analysis has a growing role in product development by having access to insights that can identify product weaknesses and points to improve. Their responsibility of successfully launching a product will be aided by data-driven analysis during the product development stage leading to higher chances of success.

Measure project impact and value

Velocity is the measure of progress in terms of development time and effort. Railtown AI allows full visibility of velocity through the Velocity Dashboard feature and sees what a team member is working on in a bird's eye view. Historical velocity data helps product managers and scrum master to estimate future sprint, better forecast product launch timelines and tracking iterative progress.
